Permeable Alley

This is the reason why attempting new methods of rainwater management in urban environments would be desirable.

The alley that forms an inverted T alongside the streets Saint-Mathieu and Ste-Catherine would be redeveloped with a permeable surface, able to absorb a large part of rainwater which will then be naturally filtered.

Of course, this surface will have to withstand the intense usage of any other lane in the city center.

It will equally have to withstand the Montréal climate and alley maintenance such as snow removal.
