Allison Reid (Project manager Quartier 21)

My name is Allison and I coordinate the Quartier 21 project with the Éco-quartier Peter-McGill team. The Quartier 21 project is an experimental site for sustainable urban initiatives on a single block of our neighbourhood. The block is located between St-Marc St, St-Mathieu St, Ste-Catherine St and de Maisonneuve Blvd.

I initiate greening, urban agriculture, recycling, rain water filtration and composting projects to battle the urban heat island phenomenon… and I'm always looking for new ideas to implement on the block!

Benoit Leromain (Greening project manager)

My name is Benoit and I'm in charge of greening and beautifying our neighbourhood, specifically on projects like green alleys, as well as tree and flower planting in our public spaces.   These initiatives are labour intensive, which is why I'm always looking for volunteers to garden with me!

Dana Pfeuty (4R project manager – specializing in recycling (residential and commercial) and outreach)

My name is Dana and I am the person to contact if you have any questions about what, how and when to recycle, to locate collection points or how to dispose of hazardous waste.

Troy Clements  (4R project manager – specializing in composting, cleanliness and outreach)

My name is Troy and I'm the right person to contact if you're interested in composting in a community composter, in your kitchen with a vermin-composter, or privately in your yard. Also, if there are cleanliness problems in your neighbourhood, contact me after you've notified the Ville-Marie borough by dialling 311.
